The Commission is thrilled to announce the funding of new agencies: Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley, The Loft at Eight Corners, UCP Seguin of Greater Chicago, and the Village of Indian Head Park. The new agencies have been awarded funding for FY25, which runs from July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025. The agencies submitted an online application for funding and did an excellent job conveying their ability to positively impact Township residents and meet our communities’ needs.
Below is a list of the programs under each agency that will receive FY25 funding by the Commission:

Outpatient Medical Rehabilitation strengthens the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual abilities of children with DD/D through individualized, outcome-focused rehabilitation therapy and services that address each child’s developmental challenges.
Mental Health Support includes social work and counseling services that help children with DD/D, and their parents, address psycho-social issues and achieve healthy psycho-social functioning. The program also provides family members of children with DD/D with the support and resources that improve family stability and functioning. Additionally, the mental health services are used to identify and address the behavioral and mental health issues of the family and child.
The Loft at Eight Corners

The Loft at Eight Corners is designed to engage teens in their mental health journey; to encourage teen voices to empower and advocate for their own services and family support. A continuum of individual and group services will be offered including screening, mental wellness education and skill building to equip teens and their families with strategies for support and self-management; crisis prevention, intervention and stabilization; and referrals to other resources as needed.

Community Day Services delivers innovative, person-centered services and supports that individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and their families prefer. Services include Developmental and life skills training; Behavioral health care; Arts enrichment; Volunteer supports in community venues; Vocational exploration and training services; Work opportunities within the agency’s two Seguin Enterprises; and Case management and other services.

Elderly Community Services Support Program includes education, training and workshop sessions on senior crime victimization topics, such as Financial Scams and Fraud, Elder Abuse, Home Safety and Security, Online Safety for Seniors, Identity Theft Protection, Emergency Preparedness, Healthcare Fraud, Legal Rights and Resources as well as health and wellness topics to promote overall well-being and mental health awareness.
